Ho boy, a translated deja-vu. Once, I was working at a grocery store of sorts. Ten hours on my feet, in the middle of the summer with customers coming and going without pause (the shop was by the beach in a good spot), no air conditionning of any sort (not even a lousy fan!)… Finally there was a moment without any customers inside so I plopped down on the floor to at least regain feeling in my feet… And that’s when my goddamn ‘boss’ comes in
…funny, it cut me off… Is that supposed to mean I shouldn’t make my comments so long???
anyway: …he goes ‘what are you doing, sitting like that?! If you’re not doing anything you could at least wipe the floor! Stop slacking!’ I was ready to strangle him on the spot… Except he walked away before I managed to get up (and it was all in Polish, hence the ‘translated’ part)
