The last panel is a quote from the movie Manhattan (USA 1978, Woody Allen) with a few changes.
In the movie, this is a night scene.
The bridge is the Queensboro brigde, which I couldn’t use here since my story doesn’t take place in New York City but nowhere particular.
The people sitting on the bench are Woody Allen and Diane Keaton.
Death’s words are a literal transcription of Allen’s, yet in a different scene of the movie.
